The First Seal is Opened
Rev 6:1-2
Rev 1:1) And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the
four beasts saying, Come and see. 2) And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and
he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
When the first seal is opened, John see's a white horse. The White color of the horse represents purity or Holiness, the crown
represents Kingship so this is a spirit of heaven, not one of hellish origin. The job of this horseman is to conquer. Conquering in the new
testament is not about evil spirits winning wars against good men, Jesus was a conqueror. Conquering in New Testament standards is defeating the
devil. Jesus conquered sin on the cross, and Revelations refers more than once to overcoming the beast and the number of his name. The conquering
spirit is out to defeat sin and deliver victory to men for Jesus. Remember, there is a war in heaven and it is over the spirits of men.
What is the time frame on this verse? So far we've seen Heaven with no man worthy to open the seals on the book, then we saw the
arrival and presence of Jesus who IS worthy, He takes the book from His Father, and by Jesus' hand, the first seal is opened.
John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the
Father, he shall testify of me:
John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the
Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto
you.
Acts 2:1-4 1)And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2) And
suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3) And there appeared
unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4) And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them
utterance.
Jesus said, when He returned to His Father, He would send the Holy Spirit, AKA the comforter to them. So we have seen Heaven
without a savior, then Jesus arrives in heaven after conquering sin on the cross, then the first seal is opened and this sends a pure conquerer
to the earth. The events that passed as well as the events in order shown in Revelation, I have to concede that the White Horse and its rider,
are the Holy Spirit which Jesus promised to send, and is the first thing, (other than taking the book from the hand of God), that He did when He
got to heaven. (at least it is the first thing that the Father has chosen to reveal to us).
