Where the Four Horsemen Appear
Revelation 12:1-13
Where do the four horsemen appear? Right after Christs Death and ressurection. Please read on to see the correlation of the
sending of the Holy Spirit, and the Horsemen of greed, violence, and death.
Rev 6:1) And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and
upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 2) And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. 3) And there appeared
another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 4) And his tail drew
the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for
to devour her child as soon as it was born. 5) And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child
was caught up unto God, and to his throne. 6) And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should
feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. 7) And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and
the dragon fought and his angels, 8) And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9) And the great dragon was cast out,
that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with
him. 10) And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ:
for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11) And they overcame him by the blood of the
Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. 12) Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in
them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath
but a short time. 13) And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man
child.
Let's look at this vision. And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the
moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars. The Woman represents the people of Israel, the crown of twelve
stars verifies the twelve tribes of Israel.
There appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven
crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the
woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. This is the Devil, waiting to capture and/or
kill the baby Jesus, (remember Herod saught to Kill jesus, and commanded all male children under a given age be killed to insure Jesus does not
escape. (You should begin to be able to see how that which happens in heaven is played out on earth). His tail drew a third part of the stars of
heaven and cast them to earth. This is a great line, and I will use this in another study that is a very exciting revelation.
...She brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto
God, and to his throne. We know who the child was by many clues, if you don't know already, it is He who is to rule the nations
with a rod of Iron, and He was caught up to Heaven and to Gods throne. This is the one and only...
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he
was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Here, Satan, the Devil, is cast to the earth, AFTER the child,
(Jesus), was caught up to God and to His throne. This is where the four horsemen appear.
Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8) And prevailed not; neither
was their place found any more in heaven. The Devil is no longer allowed in heaven.
Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because
he knoweth that he hath but a short time. As a result of being cast out of Heaven, the Devil is very angry and will do everything
within his power to oppress and eliminate Gods chosen.
Now, here is where the Four Horsemen appear. To update our timeline at this point, Jesus was not in heaven and no man was worthy
to take the book from the hand of God. Then, Jesus appeared after His work on earth was finished, and He took the book from the hand of
God, then He began opening the seals. In this chapter of Revelation, before Jesus came to Heaven with victory, the Devil is cast out.
Before this point, Satan was able to walk the earth and tempt us, he was also able to enter heaven.
Now, he is banished to the earth with his angels and a third of the stars of heaven, (angels or sons of God). He is angry, and in
his anger He takes peace from the earth, he fills humans with greed and anger, and his war on Christians and Gods people rages on like never
before. This is where the Red Horse, the Black horse, and the Pale horse come from. The four horsemen are a recoil to the victory of Christ, the
first being the Holy Spirit which Jesus promised, and the other three are unholy spirits that are a part of the Devils nature along with that of
his angels.
This chapter has shown us a vision that corelates with the last three horsemen and I believe this reveals where the four horsemen
appear. There is more to this chapter that can be gleaned from it's words, but some of that I intend to cover in another study on Rev 12. For now,
I wanted to get ahead of ourselves so that a better image of the vision of the four horsemen can be realized. The victory of Jesus had a major
recoil both in heaven and on earth
