My Creation Position
I am not an organization, everything on this website comes from one person, Dano. In thinking about creation vs. evolution over the past 20+ years, I like many others who attended public school was fooled by the superficial appearance of all creatures and the general resemblance shared by so many different specie of animal, but about 20 years ago I began to rethink the whole issue.
First off, I hated school but I loved Chemistry and almost anything science. In Chemistry I held the fourth highest grade on the finals in our entire school, and I understood the chemical process very clearly. There are certain things that hold true in science, before chemicals are put together it can be to a large degree, predetermined what the results will be. For 20 years I have sat and spent long hours contemplating the possibilities of spontaneous life and the evolutionary process. This is more than 90% of the people who graduate high school ever do, they like me have learned one solution to why we are here, and by the appearance of similarities as well as the science that says the earth and universe must be billions of years old, they are sold on the theory, hook, line, and sinker. This was one of my major down falls until I began to contemplate the issues.
Science has branched into two categories, observable science and imaginary science. Observable science means calculations and educated guesses can be made, and evidence is found or produced in the lab to support the claims. Imaginary science is where we develop a theory, and put it to the test to show with evidence and experiment that it is true, (trying to classify the theory into the observable science), but when it doesn't work new theories are developed to explain the problem with the believed science. This is not what I call true science, it cannot be duplicated and the evidence does not always support the conclusions so new answers to old problems are developed to keep the science alive. This is why I call it imaginary science.
For a simple example, if hydrogen and oxygen elements are combined and heat is applied via a fire or spark, the two will combine automatically and naturally into water. This is observable science, it can be replicated in the lab, and it can and has been used functionally. On the other hand, combining specific amino acids together and applying whatever outside force you want to apply to it does not produce living cells. Combining living cells together and doing whatever you wish with them will not cause them to combine into a multi cell animal or an organism, unless they are already predisposed to doing exactly that. This is where it all begins, spend some days contemplating this procedure in your mind, nothing but a bunch of loose elements bouncing around in chaos, how could they possibly combine into the perfect ratio, become sealed into a skin to protect them, and become a replicating life form? Think, study the concept, don't just buy the theory because some teacher said it happened, find the answer of explanation in your own mind. Today with all we know about chemistry and the living organisms, we can put all the elements together, but nothing we can do can cause them to form a cell much less bring it to life.
Now, lets suppose you accomplish this scientific impossibility in your mind, that at some point in millions of years one single cell did happen to spring to life, how could it survive? It must consume some type of protein that is only indigenous to another life form, but you only have one single cell and all there is for it to eat are chemicals and elements, many of which are corrosive. In the world of chemistry, which before life sprang up was all there was, there is no such thing as a spontaneous life producing formula.
