| 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. |

| 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. |
These false prophets will be capable of great wonders, maybe even rising of the dead, healings, miraculous works. People who did not accept Christ will be given over to this deception. |

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. |
Then comes our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is written we are not appointed to Gods wrath, however through out history Christians have been persecuted as have the Jews, as a testimony against those who do the persecution. (Mar 13:9 is one example of this) |
