Questioning God's Word

 27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

Eve fell in the Garden when Satan used His ability to put questions into her mind as to what exactly God meant by what He said.  Once she questioned God's word she fell.  In this same way Satan has put in our minds the questions of science, things that we know to work a certain way, and suddenly Gods creation and His ability to perform creation in 7 days comes into question.  Do not be deceived. If Gods word says evening and morning are the first day, etc..  Then I have no right as the creature to question what God meant.  Genesis certainly could have stated a period of time, but did not.  We think because the universe is so large that it could not have been created by God, but size is relative.  Look at the earth from the moon, and we cannot be seen, we are puny so the universe to our perspective is beyond measure, but how big is God.  If you read my write-up on Saturday Mar 4, 2006, on eternal punishment, time and space only exist because of the creation of the universe and the movement of matter, but if God created this out of nothing, the size in the physical world is nothing in comparison to an omnipresent and omnipotent God.

Genesis says God created from nothing the heavens and the earth, in one day, identified by the terms of evening and morning, and I believe it.  Once you come to this resolution, God becomes a much more powerful ally, and once you realize the falsehoods and give the power to God, your spiritual growth will take a major leap forward, while the wise and the educated will be focused on moving forward in the things of this world.
