Revelation

CHAPTER 6

1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

As I have shown briefly in the previous 2 chapters, everything is in sequence.  John is being shown what is to happen now, after this historic event of Jesus' sacrifice and resurrection.  Each of the seals are opened in sequence which in itself reflects an element of time, yet many interpret events of the seals out of sequence, which causes a lot of confusion for many who later try to understand. This is a new era of man, until now man lived under the law.  There are 2000 years of the Gentile age, yet many interpret this part of scripture as all of it being the tribulation period, meaning that throughout history God has sent prophets to the people of Israel, and has given prophecy to the end times, but ignored 2000 years of history in between the two.  I comply don't believe this is true, and if we follow these verses in sequence, you will see it very clearly, you will see what rings in the tribulation, and much of the deception becomes clear.

Let me say this, God understands sequence and numbers.  If you remember, the Bible begins with Genesis and a chronological accounting of creation by the days, from the first day to the seventh day. The tribulation is mentioned only after the breaking of the 6th seal so if your interpretation of Revelation puts the horsemen only in the tribulation, then I believe your interpretation is wrong.  If we cannot trust God to site a sequence in Revelation, then you might as well throw out the sequence of creation in Genesis. Personally, I believe if it is difficult to understand, then something is wrong, but if you follow the sequence of the seals and trumpets as we will here, then everything makes a lot more sense and it become understandable to all. Gods word is written for all, not just seminaries and priests. it is for all.

2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

The white horse is the first of what most interpret as the four horsemen of the apocalypse, but Jesus was just found to be the worthy lamb, was just given the scroll, and John is to now see what will happen in time from this point on.  The first Horseman is on a white horse and is given a crown to conquer.  Remember, the devil tried to beat God by killing His son, but his efforts only served to give victory to Gods Son Jesus. What is the white horse?  White is the color of purity, the crown reflects its Kingship.

John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

So John has seen heaven before Christ returned as the conqueror, then Jesus arrives as the Lamb of God, He takes the book from His Fathers hand and breaks the first seal.  From the first seal comes a warrior set to conquor, (using Gods word as the sword). Jesus in breaking the first seal fulfilled His word to send a conforter, AKA, The Holy Spirit, in white and wearing a crown.
