7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;
9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

This, unlike the war of the sixth seal are probably divine acts of heavenly proportions.  An asteroid or perhaps a comet whose broken particles shower the earth, and one large piece falls into an ocean destroying a third of he ships.  I'm inclined to lean towards thiws event being a comet since comets have a high concentration of water in them, mingled with who knows what other elements, which could poison the waters of the earth.

We saw when a comet struck Jupiter, planetary tides had broken it into several pieces so there were multiple impacts, not just one, and this can easily be done again.  If you look at the sequence of events from verses 7-13, there are no gaps, no placements of time, nothing happening in between, and all of these are probably the direct result of the pouring out of the censer upon the earth.  First, many fragments and pieces chowering the earth, burning the plants and the grass. Immediately following is the second trump, the mountain burning with fire casted into the sea, which would cause massive tidal waves, swallowing up ships, killing fish, and wiping out most of what is within tht sea, protected only by the borders of the continents preventing the waves from encompassing the globe. The final remnants striking the fresh water supplies, turing 1/3 of the worlds water to poison.  The result of all this is wrapped up in the fourth angels trump, as the smoke and steam from the fires and the burning comet fill the air making it dark.  The sun will not be able to penetrate the atmosphere at an angle like sunrise and sunset, but will only be visible during the mid day hours when the suns light shines more directly through the atmosphere, as a thrid part of the day it will not shine, (verse 12).

13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

Woe, Woe, Woe....  Some have said this is one woe for each of the next three trumpets to sound, but this is not congruous with the language of the day.  In our english language we have terms like Good, better, best, or Holy, Holier, and Holiest, but this was not true of the language used 2000 years ago or in the old testament.  They repeated a term to indicate is superlative state.  When Isaiah was taken up into heaven, to the inner sanctum, the seraphims cried out Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God almighty!!  Tyhe depth of this term being used 3 times is taking Gods Holiness to the 3rd degree, or in otherwords the ultimate, infinate Holiness of being Holy.  Let us remember, these were not men giving this declaration to the third degree, these are the infinite imortal Seraphs of God, whose use of the term once is probably more significant than a mans superlative.  In the gospel of John, Jesus Himself many times said, truly truly, or verily verily I say to you, (although I believe in the language of that day He was saying Amein amein, or truth, truth).

Now, here we have an immortal, and Angel of Heaven declaring, WOE... WOE... WOE... top the inhabitors of the earth for the three remaining trumpets to sound.  Imagine if you can, the earth being showered by a comet, the sky is filled with particulate matter, 30% of the water has been poisoned, a third of the ships in the sea are gone as well as a third of the fish.  All the green grass of the earth is now brown and burnt or dead, our concerns for the rainforest pale in comparison to the forests world wide which have now burnt up, and an Angel is declaring Woe, Woe, Woe, to the inhabitants for that which is yet to happen???  If you have been raptured, good for you, if you have been martyred you have special blessings in heaven, far better than being zapped up by some divine rapture, but whatever the case... You don't want to be on the earth at this point...  Howeveer, I believe that for those who do believe in Jesus, who have stealthily evaded persecution, if they do exist at this point, they will have the protection of God.  It is not appointed to gods chosen people to suffer His wrath, but that does not mean he will rapture them.  God poured out His wrath on the earth in the days of Noah, yet He protected His people then, and God still has the power to protect those whom He will.

to be continued.......
