The Last Trump Sounds

1 Cor 15:51) Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed 52) in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Matt 24:3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?"
Matt 24:29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30) Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31) And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

1 Thess 4:16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17) Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

The Last Trumpet Sounds

Rev 10

Rev 10:1) And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: 2) And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, 3) And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. 4) And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not. 5) And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, 6) And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:

The Return of Christ - Notice in His left hand, a little book and for the first time since Christ entered into heaven, the book is now opened. The only book spoken of within this entire vision was the one Jesus took and began opening the seals, now who is this angel? He is the one holding the book of which all the seals have been broken and it is now open. Then in verses 5 and 6, the angel which is standing upon the earth and the sea declares that there should be time no longer.  What does He mean by Time no longer?

Time, (as spoken of in other areas), is a concept based on movement. A day is the revolution of the earth, a year its rotation around the sun, in everything, time is based on movement. Time began in the beginning.  Remember Genesis 1:1, "In the beginning", God created the heavens and the earth. Before the creation of the heavens and the earth, there was no time, movement as we know it did not exist, now it is time for time to cease, the Heavens and the earth will be uncreated, but that will all be covered in later visions of Johns in Revelation.

Is there any question now as to where the timeline chronology has ended? We have seen Christ appear in Heaven, take the book, and open the seals in sequence that follows the gift of the Holy Spirit, the spirits coming to earth when Satan was cast down for a short time, the results of these things followed by a series of events leading to the pouring out of God's Wrath followed by the last trump, the declaration that time should be no more, as Gods mystery is finished.

Now John will go into detail on events that would occur during the time of the Gentiles and show some historical events that are not clearly outlined in the opening of the seals. Those events are coming next, and Gods Word will show how they place into the historical timeline.

I appologize for the slow down once again in updating this, we have found a house and are doing a lot of work to fix it up like replacing floors, paneling, and a few other adventures to fit our allergies and sensitivites. Being disabled makes the progress slow, but we will plug along and I will do my best to mantain an update to this studyat least once a week or more. - Dano
