Luke 17:29-30

29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.  The very same day Lot ran from Sodom, it was raining fire and brimstone from heaven, so shall it be when the Son of man is revealed.
34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. 35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. This is immediately related to the verses 29 & 30, and this is the speak we have called the rapture.  This is not occuring before the tribulation, the fire and brimstone can be read in Revelation 16:21, it is a direct result of the seventh vial of Gods wrath being poured out at the end of the tribulation.

Now let's look at a couple of the Pauline scriptures, beginning with 1 Cor 15:52

1 Corintians 15:51-52

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  Here we see the mystery of the rapture revealed, in the twinkling of an eye, but here is yet another event to which the time can be placed, the sound of the last trump. There wil be no trumpet to announce the beginning of the tribulation, but only during the end of the tribulation.

Our question is, when is the last trumpet sounded off? In Revelation there are seven trumpets, the seventh trumpet is when the kingdoms of the world are given to the hand of Jesus. Rev 11:14-19.

Revelation 11:14-19

14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earthd.
19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
