Evolution vs. Creation
As a young man with a scientific mind, by which I mean I have always been fascinated with how things work, not only mechanically, but in nature, the universe, and life itself, I found evolution to be very feasible during my high school years in the 1960's. I mean, look around, there are so many similarities between several different family groups of animals, it is easy to see how things could possibly have changed to adapt. The smarter the ape, the more likely his survival, and eventually his intelligence could bring him to a point where he wouldn't need to live in trees for protection, but would learn how to use the tools and the elements around him to improve his lifestyle. It is not much further of a stretch to see that all portions of the designs of life could change a little to make more readily the survival of some animals over others, until you have complete changes in family groups and species.
Oh how simple it is when one looks at these things on such an elementary level, there does appear to be the possibility of change to these vast degree's. This weakened my walk with God, he was no longer a personal relationship, but sort of an overseer of the universe, like a captain of a ship steering the coarse of History and life in the universe. As time progressed and I got older, and became more wise in my questioning mind, I suddenly began to have questions about the findings that so called proved scientifically the evolutionary process. All these animals that were so closely related, but with distinct changes in anatomy and skeletal structure, there must be more steps in between one animal and the other, for example Human and Chimp, (one of the most closely related primate families), yet chimps have flat hip bones to accommodate walking on all fours while humans have curved hip bones to accommodate upright walking, yet I had seen all the pictures of progression they show you in the charts and at museums progressing from a four footed monkey to an upright man, and each progression shows him walking a little more upright until you reach modern man. Such a beautiful adaptation with one exception, first off there are no skeletal finds of these in between steps where the hip bone is partially curved, secondly even if they did exist, these creatures probably would not have survived long because the back would not likely endure living years carrying the weight of the primate walking bent half way over, even if he was empty handed all day. The fact is, every dig seems to uncover a distinct family of animal, most of which have probably now been found, and there is nothing new under the sun, (except the theory of evolution). Of all animals, not just primates, this seems to be the case, there are distinct differences, and never has there been found any progression from one animal to another.
